Question Airbag light is blinking. Please help

I have a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. Recently my airbag light started blinking and wouldn't go away when I start the engine. When I drive the car for a while, turn the engine off and then back on, the light goes off. Whan can the a reason for this? Since it goes away while the car is hot, I don't think that enything is wrong with the airbag computer. Can it be caused by a bad terminal on the battery which is a little bit loose and I can't properly tighten?
