Default intermittent wiper

I'm new here. Just bought 06 SR5 4x4 Phantom Gray Pearl with leather seats and 29000mi. I love the truck so far. No complaints except the windshield wipers. I did a search but found nothing about the front wipers and a lot about the rear ones. Anyway, my front wiper doesn't work properly in intermittent. I put it in intermittent and it stays on a constant low with no delay (like it's on constant low). I adjust the knob to different settings but no change. I move the lever to different speeds and it changes speed. Once in a while i can get intermittent to work but it's only for a couple delays then goes back to constant on. when I turn the wipers off, the blades will stop right away and stay where they stop. They don't return to home. Would this be the wiper switch or could it be a relay or sensor? It's still under warranty so I should get this fixed by the dealer but I was just wondering if it would be something simple I could check since I live about 1 1/2 hr from the dealer.

Default Re: intermittent wiper

It probably is a stuck relay inside the wiper switch/lever. The whole switch is about $80 I think, and is really easy to replace yourself if it is out of warranty.
