passenger seat "clunking"
Hello! I have a 2003 Sequoia Limited.
Most of the time I drive by myself so the passenger seat is empty.
When I first got the truck I noticed the passenger seat seemed to shake a little every time I went over a bump.
Now it has gotten to the point where it actually makes like a shaking or clunking noise every time I go over a bump.
The stealer has looked at it once and tells me this is normal 'cause the seat is so tall.
Anyone else experiencing this?

But, what is it? Mine does the same thing? I figured it wasn't bolted down tight enough

the seat
Yeah - I cant tell what it is either. Mine only shakes a tiny little bit - doesn't seem like it should make so much noise for so little movement.

belt buckle rattling ?
No noise problem here with the seat itself. I wll get noise from the seat belt buckle rattling against the passenger side door if I don't straighten it out after someone has used it.

That noise is not normal, don't trust anything they said. I dirve over speed bumps in my area all the time.

This is exactly what mine is. I straightened it out this morning and no rattle. Thanks RA!

My front passenger seat sometimes suffers from excessive griping but I notice it stops once we drop off my mother in law.
Spoken like a man who belongs to a forum his wife does not have the password too!

shocking but true.....
I have to admit, I was quite skeptical when I read about seat belt buckles rattling. This did not sound anything like a buckle rattling.
But ok, I'm game, so I'll try most anything.
And I'll be darned, that is where the noise comes from.
Obviously I haven't found any way around it other than fastening the seat belt when no one is sitting in it, but at least I know that is all it is.
Thanks a million.

Do you have the site bookmarked? I do and I am always logged in, as long as I am using the same computer. Just thought I'd mention that.
