Default how much would changing rear bumper cost?

hello everybody.
couple days before it was raining badly. and my G/f went to see her friend.long story short she hit some stud or post.as you can see on the pictures it's only outside plastic. i called a toyota bodyshop and they wouldnt give me estimate over the phone.i live on island and bodyshop is on the continent.and i dont trust on island body shops. i was going to see wether to go thru insurance or pay it myself. what do you guys think this would cost.
off topic. I'm ready for my cash clunker. thinking to get 4 cyl, reg cab tacoma for work(i do carpentry). cheapest tacoma i can find. what do you think of them. i'd love to have 4x4, but 4+G difference in price makes it hard to decide.and also IS REG CAB SMALLER THAN EXTENDED CAB? i mean there is extra room , but is it narrower, lower? thanks

You can pop it out your self. Go to Hardware store and purchase a heat gun. Take the bumper off and heat the damaged corner with a heat gun. In a few minutes plastic will get softer and you will be able to pop most of it out. Once done, you will still see the damage, especially the holes, but it will look much better, until you decide to get it fixed.

I agree with popping it out yourself. Even if you want to get a new vehicle, you won't get your money back fixing it pristine.

I had the cover on mine replaced, it was $500 total. That didn't include the actual structure of the bumper, which was not damaged.

You should get it fixed, your Sequoia is expensive and worth keeping it nice.
