Default What torx T size to remove bolt from assist handle

2004 SR5

Does anyone know what size the torx bolt is that holds the front assist handles for getting in and out of the car?
It looks like a T27 but T27 is too small and T30 is too big.
I can't seem to find a T28 or T29.
Do I even have it right, that it is a Torx bold?

TIA

Mine is out and about right now so I can't look and tell you, but there is no T28 or T29.

I'll check it out later, but either the 30 or the 27 should fit. Torx bits never seem to fit really tight with the bolt heads, there's always a little slop. You might get the T30 close and tap it with a hammer--I've stripped out my share of T30 bolts using a T27 because the 30 didn't seem to fit on the throttle bodies of BMW V8s.
