Default 04 Factory Cd player

My 04 factory cd player won't take any cds. It constantly says wait when I try to load one. My power antenna won't go down as well. Can that be affecting it.

Wondering if there is any kind of reset button you can find and press . I've heard that the factory cd players are problematic in these vehicles . I bought my 04 used and they replaced the unit with a single Din Pioneer which sounds suprisingly better than the factory unit . I just don't have a changer with it . I do know that all my aftermarket units I've bought over the years ( Cars, Boats ) have had reset buttons which I've periodically have had to press to clear up little problems . Usually you have to use the point end of a ball point pen to reset the button cause they're recessed somewhat . And you prolly will have to remove the face cover to find it .

Have you tried unplugging it from the car and plugging it back in? You will have to reset your preset stations, but worth a shot.
