Question Door lock problem?!?! - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with their door lock? I have an 03 Seqouia SR5 and a couple of weeks ago the rear passenger door lock started acting funny. Sometimes it works fine with the remote and power buttons in the car and sometimes it does not. When it is not working, there is no beep and the headlights do not go off when I push the remote, therefore I have to go lock the door manually. There does not seem to be any consistent trend of when it works and when it doesn't work. I don't want to replace the solenoid if it is the actual switch so I was just wondering if anyone had the same problem!

So it just the one door that does not lock or all of them. May be a dumb question but did you try changing your battery in you key FOB. It sounds like it is working manually just not with the remote, battery is a cheap fix.
