Default Heard bang on downhill/left turn

I have an '03 Sequoia... I was pulling out from a red light today... going slightly down hill and turning left when I heard a very loud bang. I thought I hit something, but didn't see anything in the road so I kept going.

When I make a sharp turn, I hear a noise... like something is broken... maybe like metal clanging around underneath front to middle of truck.

Anyone have any idea what it could be? I am taking it to the dealer tonight.. .but have some stops to make today. Should I drive it???

I assume the sounds are coming from the front?

The loud band definitely came from the front. The sounds I hear now upon any sharper turn ... I'm not sure. Front or middle. I looked under it, but see nothing. Not that I know what I'm looking for. I expected to see something hanging.

Think you can take some photos of the front end behind the tires and the drive shaft? Maybe have a buddy try to pinpoint the sound from outside while you turn the truck?

Just took it for another drive. Noise occurs over bumpy roads too. But, especially when I pull into my driveway... over the bump turning left. Sounded like it came from the left front... feel it under my feet too.

4x2 or 4x4?

How do the CV joints look on the front axle (if 4x4?)

Service dept called... broken stabilizer link. That combined with rear brake replacement and oil change will total a little over $600. :-(

We had a similar experience about two weeks ago. I was making a u-turn using a driveway, and as we pulled into the driveway we heard a loud bang. The car sounded like it beeped from somewhere in the dash, as well. But looking underneath, I can't see anything wrong-- not that I would really know where to look anyway-- and I wonder what the beep may have indicated.

I'd like to know where to look and if the beep is important.
