03 Sequoia VSC disconnect? - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

Like so many of us the lights for my TRAC/VSC are staying on. The Seq is also making a grinding noise (vsc working?) under the brake pedal and the brake system sounds like it is tearing apart for about 4 seconds. I read that disconneting the VSC wiring under the hood will stop this but can someone post a pic (or send me one) of what harness needs to be disconnected? There are too many to choose from. Many thanks...

Right below your brake fluid reservoir is a small wire with connector. I don' t have a picture, but it's the only one there from what I remember. It took me a minute to figure out how to pull it off, but I think it eventually came off with no problem.

Yes, the connector to remove is on the brake fluid reservoir. It comes out toward the left side of the car. Mine has been undone for around 2 months and the brakes work fine. Yes the VSC/TRAC lights are ON on the dash, but who cares.
