Default Smell of Gasoline outside by drivers side door...possible leak?

Had the fuel filter replaed earlier this week when the car was sent it to the dealership for routine maintenance. Since then, I can distinguish the faint smell of gasoline outside where the drivers side door meets the engine bay.

Any ideas what this could possibly be? I'll most likely end up taking it back to the dealership to have them look at what they did.

Where are the valve seals located?

Take a flashlight and crawl under your truck at or near your driver's side front door and look for evidence of a leaking fitting at your fuel filter. As mentioned previusly your fuel filter is attached to the inside of your frame rail. It could be that the tech did a poor job of cleaning up after themselves as invariabley some fuel will leak out while changing the fuel filter. Or maybe they didn't get the plastic snap connector fitted on the new filter properly. But diffenately look at it or have someone else look at it for you if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. No open flames while inspecting!

I guessing the valve seals that Mr. Yota is refereing to are those that are present in his valve train. I would start with your fuel filter first though because of its recent service.

Thanks M, hopefully I'll get some time this week to do so.
