I'm looking to do the 90k mile service on our 04 Sequoia. After doing a search and looking through some of the previous timing belt threads, I think I've got my list of parts to buy:
Timing belt & Tensioner
Water pump, WP gasket, both O-rings
Thermostatstat and gasket
Serpentine belt & Tensioner
Radiator Hoses- lower and higher & radiator cap
PCV valve
Idler pulley & Tensioner pulley
Spark plugs
Also plan on having the coolant changed out as well.
So here's my question, where's the best place I can buy these parts? Note, I only want to use genuine Toyota parts.
I have seen a couple of vendors on this forum like Sparks Toyota-TRD & tacozilla (Shannon from toyotaworld.com). I've also seen some members using http://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/- Bob Bridge Toyota.
Are there other sites/places that provide good service and cheap pricing? Could you give me your recommendations on who I should order parts from?
I don't think I've missed anything on my list above but if I did, please let me know. Finally, is it necessary to go to platinum plugs or should I just stick with the regular ones?
