It would be great if you would tell us what rig this applies to!!!! My 2000 tundra doesn't have rotors in the back and neither does your rig. Are you meaning to say "drum" ?

My rotors are kinda ridgy and probably need turning so I'm going to get ceramic dustless pads installed by my mechanic....for about $175.
Great write-up and if I had time I would definitely follow your steps!

I replaced my rear brake pads earlier this year, but I still have a rear brake squeak when applying the brakes in reverse.

I haven't had time to investigate further, but I have a feeling the parking brake shoes need to be replaced.

This write-up is great and it will be very helpful when I finally get around to the project, thanks!

Since the post is in the 1st Generation Sequoia forum, I would assume it's for a 1st Generation Sequoia!!!!

My 2005 Sequoia has rotors, not drums. The OP mentions that the Sequoia rear brakes are different than the Tundra brakes in a separate post later on in the thread...
