Question Suspension "thunk" noise

Has anyone out there experienced the thunk noise from the front suspension of the Sequoia when the brakes are released after stopping hard? Having the A/C on (higher idle rpm) seems to make it worse. I just bought mine and dont know if it is "normal."
Seems sort of loud to me.

I think you are hearing probably what everybody else is hearing on this thread.

Clunk when braking in reverse

Are you sure it's coming from the front? Sounds like what many of us have experienced but it's source was the rear driveshaft binding up after a moderate to hard stop. Solution is to lube your rear driveshaft. I dunno if they forget to do this or just don't lube it enough from the factory, but when I lubed ours it took almost a full tube of grease. Result, thunk gone.

Thank you for the info. I will try the drive shaft lube.

If you "feel" it in the brake pedal, especially when shift into drive with the brake on, its the anti-lock brakes. I assume this is "normal" although it only started to do it on my 2002 Sequoia after the front brake TSB was done.
