Does anyone know what brand/model tire comes on the 2002 2WD Sequoia SR5 with the Alloy Wheel Package?

Default protecting the spare

Anyone have any suggestions on how better to secure the spare wheel/tire? Had someone steal mine while I was in Chicago. (ok maybe i shouldn't have parked my car where i did...) The dealer suggested an aftermarket cable that would lock the wheel to the frame. I replied 'but if they can cut through the cable that lowers the spare, won't they just cut through the other?' No reply.

Thought of just storing the alloy spare in the garage and buying a basic steel rim for use as the spare. Does anyone know if they make steel rims that will fit?

Default Tires

Anyone have any experience with the Goodyear Wrangler's?

Mine oddly came stock with them, and around 20k miles they started to vibrate, and couldn't be balanced. Dealer says tread (or belt) seperation.

I just bought a set of Michelin Cross Terrains. I hope they work out better.

Default goodyear

I would ask a goodyear tire center to replace or give you a credit for them. Since the tire is defective by has many miles left on them.

Thumbs up Wrangler Tires!

We have them on our other SUV and so far they have perfomed well! Only 7500 miles so far so I'm holding my breath until I reach 20k.

Default Limited Wheels

I bought mine through ebay.
Going, Going, Gone is the name of the outfit in Huntington Beach, CA.
I've seen them from $300 to $500 for a set of 4.
Then they in turn will sell your SR-5 wheels for a fee.
