Default Has anyone had the folded rear seat move under hard acceleration?

I often drive with my rear seats folded forward so I can carry equipment for work and my dog. I've noticed that, under hard acceleration, the folded rear seats move back towards the rear of the truck. This is rather annoying, and I don't even have a supercharger. Has anyone else experienced this? Is their a cure other than bungeeing the rear seats to the front headrests?

Thanks for any responses!

Sometimes I forget to put the 2nd row folded so it thumps down once in awhile. I live on a hill so it doesn't take much acceleration for the seat to fall while I'm going up.

Are you talking about your 2nd row or the third row?

There's a strap built-in under each of the second row sections that you're supposed to use to hold up the seat. If you've folded the 2nd row, the strap should hook to the grab handle by the door. If you've folded the 3rd row, the strap is supposed to go back over the folded seat and hook on to the handles at the bottom.

At least, that's what the owner's manual says.

Stargazer,

Thanks for your help. I'm talking about the 2nd row. Sorry, I tossed my third seats in a storage room and forgot I had another row.

Okay, I did read my manual and discovered the straps you were talking about. Cool.

Thanks!
