how to replace the rear wiper?

Hi, I have the 2001 SR5.
I went buy a 14" wiper from the store and planning to replace the rear wiper.
but while I pulled the the wiper up a bit , then I found out there a stopper on the factory wiper.
Do I have to remove the stopper from the old one to the new one?
how to do it?

will the wiper working normal without the stopper?

please give me some ideas..

You need to buy an insert. You can't buy an aftermarket wiper assembly. The parts store should've told you that.

Yes you can. Here is what you need. Direct fit on my 04.

Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blade, 14" (Pack of 1) : Amazon.com : Automotive.

Trico or Bosch might also have a direct fit. Choices are limited, anco definitely won't fit.

Did you take the stopper out from the factory wiper? or just put it up without it?
if you just putted the new wiper without the stopper, how it work?

Take off entire wiper blade, including stopper. All you will be left with is a j hook on the end of the wiper arm. New blade I showed you comes with new stopper, just pop it in.

Hi: actully I clicked on the link you shown me, I didn't see the stopper shown on the image.
That's why I was wondering how to do the stopper..

I order the blade, but it didn't come with the part (stopper) shown inside the circle.
just a regular blade 14"
any other way to work on it? or only go back to dealer...?

Sorry, I think I was thinking of a different part. Why did you take the stopper off? All you have to do is take off the wiper blade, the stopper you show is not attached to the blade, at least its not on my 04. Once the wiper blade is off you are left with the metal arm with a j hook at the end. Slide the wiper I showed you on it. That's it. Perhaps it's different on the 01.

haha,I will try to take the blade out from the new wiper and put it on the factory wiper..
then keep using the factory wiper with the stopper.
at least don't need to go dealer or wait again.
