Anyone have pictures of Hood Protector - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

Thinking of getting a hood protector and can't find any pictures to see what it would look like. Do any of you have a hood protector on your Sequoia and pictures you could share?

It is not on my Sequoia but rather my Tundra and since they are the same.....

It is a Form Fit Focus Protector, they run about $91 shipped from Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota. You can get in touch with him through gonzo4u@earthlink.net

I highly recommend the Form Fit hood protector.... but if you want an toyota oem one, I have one still in the box I'll sell for $85 and I'll ship if for free in the US (std UPS shipping).... I think I originally paid approx $135+tax for it.

Why do you recommend Form Fit over the OEM. What's different about it.

No drill, protects the "fangs" down the side of the hood, more sleek.

Draw backs, close fit to hood meaning your can't dry with a towel between hood and protector, and you must put 3M bumpons on your hood. They are removable though.

I had a OEM on my 4Runner and it was pre-drilled and had the little bumps to keep it tight against the hood. Figured that was the same for the Sequoia. Who sells Form Fit? Is that the name brand?

I'm interested if it's a smoke colored one. I have a 2004 sequoia. Will it work on that. Think it will make it through shipping?

1) Yes - it is smoke colored.

2) I will confirm with the dealer that the one I have will fit a 2004 (pretty sure it will).

3) I can ship it in the same original Toyota box that it was shipped to me in.
