Angry 2002 Sequoia missing power

I have towed our boat twice this year with the new DC, but last night towed with the sequoia. Talk about missing power getting on the freeway on ramp I only got up to 50 - 55 mph. In the DC I'm at 65 - 70 mph. Any ideas on were it hase gone? After the 30,000 mile tuneup I lost about 2-3 mpg, but thought it was because of the winter mix, this has yet to increase again.

I can't get all technical about the towing issues and power because I am not an expert however... I would have to think about the weight of the car too don't you?? I am just guessing here.. Since the SEQ. would weigh more than the tundra... not sure it is significant to make a difference though..

According to the toyota web site the difference is about 150 pounds less for the DC vs. the sequoia. But with the fiberglass lid on the DC I bet the weight is very close.

take in mind it's also the way the seq and tundra are geared on the rear end(ratio).. Love to see the new figures on the 05 tundra and seq with 5 speed and vvti iforce with 283 horsepower...
