i'm not really into airbags and tuckin' rims, but overall it's a sweet @$$ sequoia! i'm surprised i haven't seen him around because he's local. did you notice the 22" maido MS-5s? those were the rims i was planning on upgrading too!! someone beat me too it!! i have rim envy!!
Man, that is a nice system!
Only, did I see a Drop Down Screen?
If I did, why is it placed behind the second row seats, in other words if this screen is for the "THIRD" (non-existant) row who can possibly see it?

Also, did you notice those two huge behemoth subs? Check out the stats of the sub [here]. I hear that those subs are uber-loud and great for competitions with sine waves and such, but sucks when it comes to listening to music. Although I've never heard one in person so I wouldn't know...

This SQ is meant to be a show vehicle that's why they have the drop down on the 2nd row. I have seen some other show vehicles where they put monitors at the cargo compartment and even under the hood....
But I like the set-up (drop with 22 Maido MS-5) except for the height... it's kinda' too low for me...guess they could adjust that with the airbags....
Well..........I just made couple of phone calls today to check about the JL and one place quoted me 1300 for the stealthbox, an amp and installation while another local shop came up with about 1000 for the same parts and labor.
My question is.........are those estimates sound right at all to you guys? Any comment Sulvento? What kinda amp did you get to be installed under the fron passenger seat? Anything else I need to know?
Somewhere around here is a thread on all this, but I'm too damn lazy to look for it, so here ya go.
JL Audio Stealthbox recovered to match my interior
JL Audio 250/1 Monoblock amp to power it
All associated wires, harnesses, etc...
Installation
==========================
Ran me $1100.00, give or take a nickel.
Yes, the box is expensive ($500+)
Yes, I'd do it all the same way, all over again.
Yes, THAT particular amp can fit under the passenger seat, on TOP of the airducts. Your rear air will be unaffected, and the seat will still move with no restriction.
oh...and yes, to me, it's worth it. It sounds great.
Has anyone installed a DVD and monitors into their Sequoia?

From time to time my JBL stereo system makes a ticking noise. The noise is intermittent and lasts from 2 to 10 seconds. The noise is definitely coming from the speakers and stops as soon as you turn of the system.
