Hey Mike - We don't know about cost yet. Depends on the number of people that are interested. The more people, the lower the cost. Sounds like they are drop in so it's very easy to remove and put your stock panel back on. I'm still deciding on the amp. I'd like to get a 4 channel amp and put it under the driver or passenger seat. Replace the rear speakers and run 2 channels to the new speakers and bridge the other 2 to the sub.
Mike....i'm still trying to figure out where i'm gonna put my amp as well. i used up the space under the passenger seat, so i've got to find another spot.
Boone....i don't think that there is enough space for an amp underneath the driver's seat because of the seat motor (up/down mech).
here's another option that i was looking at. i was thinking about a Q-logic amp rack/tray to place on the cargo floor. i kinda didn't want to go this route because it takes up a little more space, but i don't know where else to put it other than hidden behind one of the rear panels.

I should have everything by the end of this week, prices, availability, airspace and the final product will be ready also. The box is completely drop in other than the two holes that have to be drilled. What we are thinking is to supply a template for the bottom of the storage box that will show you where to drill the mounting bolt. That's one hole, the other hole will be for running the speaker wire to the amp, this hole should be relatively small, depending on what gauge wire you choose to run. But we figured that this one can be hidden easily towards the inside of the storage in that little hole that goes towards the cupholders. Keep spreading the word about these boxes, the more buyers the cheaper the box. As far as amps go, heck I don't even have a aftermarket headunit yet. Can buy the rest of my stereo until I sell my other set of wheels, so btw...anyone interested in a set 18" JAOS wheels? They look just like mine but they're not chrome. Oh yeah, how bout a group buy on stereo equipment? Anyone interested in that?
Have a pic of your wheels (the 18" that you are selling)?
Did you previously have them on your Sequoia? (or do they fit?)
Have tires to go with them? (or what would you guys recommend, I currently have the stock wheels/tires)
And of course.....how much?
p.s. For the sub-box setup, I'm in favor of utilizing the stock head unit I have (the JBL 6 disc). Did virtually the same thing with the 97 4-Runner I had, and it sounded great. I may eventually get around to doing an aftermarket head unit, but I'm in no rush. Has anyone already added an amp/speaker setup to the stock JBL unit? Any problems?

What about under the passenger seat? I was also thinking about behind one of the rear panels. Heck, who knows!
you can follow the link below and look at my truck pics at the webshots page. They are exactly the same wheels as what I have on my truck now, except they are not chrome, they are machine finished. The lip looks the same, but the centerdisc looks different, they're machined. The wheels are brand new in the box, never been mounted or used. PM me if you are interested.
Glad I just found this thread. Looks like a great idea. Can't yet afford the sound system(sub/amp.), but this would be a great start and give me a reason to get that sub when my budget permits. Let us know price as soon as you get the info and count me in as a 'dependent on price'.

They look great! That is one style/look I'm considering. I'll PM you if I decide to go forward with that particular look. (have to get the approval..err...opinion of the spouse)
