Default 2003 Sequoia Limited issues - not happy

Here is my most recent email to toyota w/ issues:

Could you please provide me the name of the District Service and Parts Rep for my area? I am in Cincinnati, Ohio zip code 45248.

I am having issues with my Sequoia that I have tried to have addressed w/ the dealership many times.

1. drive train shuddering at stops/starts after my sequoia warms up
2. vsc kicking on when turning and accelerating leaving me (and my family) open to traffic
3. ticking noise coming from the dash/center console that is apparently due to a ground wire. see My Ticking Noise is Gone!

I sent you an email similar to this a year ago (file #xxxxxx10953) which did NOT resolve the issues. Please give me the name and contact info for the district service rep.

Please advise ASAP. Thank you.

Anyone else have these problems?

I've had problems 1 and 2 on your list. #2 is part of the VSC design which most people don't see on a test drive. I'm sorry to say you'd have to fix this one on your own.

#1 is a problem a lot of people have had, that's been discussed on this web board with some solutions, if it's the same problem that I think it is. My dealer also did not address this, although some people have had dealers honor their warranty.

Default None

None of them, anyway.

Our biggest gripes are poor brake wear (18K), poor OEM tire wear (30K), and a minor squeak in the sunroof/roof area.

The only thing I know about VSC is that you've got to disable it if you want to slide in the snow ;-)

(We're at 35K)

Must suck to pay $43000+ and have those kind of problems.

Hahahah!

Toyotafreak, does your vehicle have the brake upgrade TSB? You might want to check into that.

Default just for the record

I'd be thinking twice about a purchase if I'd seen this stuff before buying mine. Fortunately, I got a near perfect '03........that I've been driving for two years now.
