Angry Selling Sequoia For Lack Of Aftermarket Parts

I'm sick of this. There are almost no aftermarket parts for this damn SUV! It's been out for around 5 years and still only a few have aftermarket parts. I think i'm going to be selling this in August or September when i reach 50,000miles (if anyone wants to buy it) and putting all my time and effort into our 2004 Dodge Ram Hemi which has thousands of aftermarket parts for it and alot more horsepower and torque. Not only that but I don't use the 3rd row except for every once in a blue moon and the Hemi is way more powerful than my Sequoia. I mean it's beyond belief that after market companies have not tried to cash in on the After market for the Sequoia. If one company made parts for it they would be the only company and therefore make lots of money. This is not an Attack on the Sequoia at all. I loved my first Sequoia and I love this one but i need to be able to do stuff to it other than generic boring sh!t. I Have a Ram now with only 20,000miles on it and it's going to be my new baby. I am going to lift it and put it on 39.5's, mod the engine, and re do the interior to my liking. I will keep it until i see the new tundras in 07 and decide whether to get another yota or not.

um...yes, u.s. manufactured trucks have a lot more off-the-shelf, bolt-on, everybody-has-one parts. i mean, who can live without a cnc machined grille insert with skulls all over it, smoked headlight covers, a 12" drop bracket, dual blooie tubes, chrome diff covers, and colored windshield wipers .

just looking at your sig line, you seem to have a good start on a quality, unique ride, and plans for the future. sure, you could sell it, or you can think outside the box full of brake light covers and fiberglass wings. there are a lot of well-modded trucks just on this site alone, stop looking through catalogs for mods and start looking at the truck from the perspective of what you want to turn it in to, and then figure out a way to make it happen.

...or you could sell it and get a subscription to 4wpw so youll always have a line on the latest bolt-ons, but imo thats like giving up, and doesnt have any personality whatsoever. you diy, people will notice and respect.

I've been able to find more aftermarket toys for my Sequoia than I can afford to buy

Brushguard, Aux lights, Safari rack, intake, headers, exhaust, Unichip, custom mats, dash overlays if you please, DVD entertainment, stereo upgrades, wheels, tires, shocks/suspension, TRD Supercharger, etc etc. Performance Products carries all kinds of things for the Sequoia..............

I'll admit, it's not nearly as easy to find aftermarket parts for as a domestic 4x4, but if you look hard enough, think outside of the box, and are willing to be the first to try something, I'm sure you can keep yourself busy

Whoa! Hold the phone, I am not a ricer. I don't use altezzas, over sized whale wings, fart can mufflers, and extra stickers to gain RWHP. I just don't do that. I need more stuff aimed for engine mods. Like cam kits and what not, you know perfomance stuff(other than a supercharger). And I want to lift it and there are no kits and the only kit being made is having all types of problems. I don't really consider spacers a lift kit. I have lots of DIY touches on my truck, i don't do many bolt ons. Those modded trucks you speak of are mostly taco and tundras. Besides i need more power for pulling our new boat. The sequoia will do it but it sounds like the engine is going to go right through the grille if i push it anymore. So don't put me in the ricer category

Default There is just right amount of after market parts!

Hey, The sequoia is just perfectly engineered. Why screw it up? There is enough after market parts available now to customize. Toyota Quality. The other SUVs are not quality and need every stinking chance to be something they are not.
