Default Help! 2001 Seq Nav Speed Sensor Wire

Hello to everyone:
Does any 2001 sequioa owner that installed the 2005 camary navigation system know the color and wire position of the speed sensor wire? I have found the reverse wire(B/Y) (C5)8 but can not find the speed sensor wire. I have had the unit for several weeks but can not find this one wire color and position on the plug. I hate to have it installed by a car stereo place. Please help.

thanks

JMan

Default Navigation installation

Dear Parrot:

Thank you thank you thank you! After I found the correct wiring, it was a snap. Nav works like a champ. BUT, how do you turn off the silly first screen with the " English and I AGree " buttons? Help anyone.

Thanks

JMan

I have done a great deal of research on this topic. It is a very hot one in the Siennaclub.org Forums. Nobody has figured out how to get rid of the I agree screen yet...short of buying the 100 cable that supposedly does it for you. There are a couple of work arounds for the fact that the nav doesn't allow user input while driving, and for those who want to play DVDs while driving (for their front seat passengers of coarse). There is a great deal of information on the following forum, and I believe all of the 2005 navs are the same...at least it worked for my 2005 Tundra.

Good Luck.
