Default EC Rearview Mirror

Hello;

I have a sequoia being built as we speak. A couple of the car options to be added were the convenience package (CQ) and the EC rearview mirror(N1). For some reason the EC mirror was not added as part of the order and the dealer offered to add it at the dealership for 190 plus tax. My question is what is it that the EC rearview mirror give me that is not already part of the CQ package. If I get the EC mirror will the Temp, compass ... will be diplayed both in the console and the EC mirror?

Thanks

The temp, compass, homelink...etc is displayed on an overhead console...the EC rearview mirror (N1) if I'm not mistaken is the automatic Day/Night mirror....(the temp, compass...is not displayed on the rearview mirror)

Default i think you are right

Just came back from the dealer and the mirror has an off and auto button, maybe to turn on or off the auto dimming? And the parts person mentioned that he does not think that it displays the temp, etc. for $200 I dont think is worth it..

thanks

Default mirror

Hi the ec mirror is the same as the non ec mirror other than the fact that it dims at nite. There is a button to turn it on and off. I like this feature I would not want to go without it especially driving at nite and all my previous cars have had them so I am used to it. I added mine after also. The compass, mileage monitor and temp are displayed in the overhead console. The ec mirror has a plug with 2 wires you can install it yourself it comes with instructions and you can get them online several places. If you open the sunglasses holder there are 2 phillips head screws and then the console just pops down there are a couple snap clips. The mirror goes on the same way the old one came off with little screw on the mount point. Hope this helps.
