Default Sequoia wireless remote control

One of my control just died today for no reason. I replaced the battery 2 days ago thinking that it needed it since it only worked intermittedly.

Does anyone has any experience with replacing the RC? I see there are a bunch of it on ebay but not sure if theres particular model to get? Will it need to be "reprogramed"? I checked the manual and there wasnt any info except telling you to contact the stealer. It did indicate that you could have up to 4 RC per vehicle, I think thats the route to go for me.

Thanks for all your inputs

Frank.

Life is good

Got it done right this time today after 3 tried yesterday unsuccesfully. Re-read the instruction again and sure enough its a piece of cake and the darn "stealer" wanted 1/2 hours of labor cost to "reprogram" it with shop's scan tool

Now that I kinda get the hang of it, gona hit ebay for couple spare one

Thanks Glen for the instruction

Frank.

Side note...

I just install a pair of Sylvnia Xenarc today and somehow my keyless range has reduced tremendously (the Xenarc is remote controlled). Virtually I have to stand right next to the driver door in order for the transmitter to work not that it has been working at any greater distance to begin with but this is just....way too close. Does anyone has any experiences like this? Not sure if the Xenarc's antena has anythign to do with it?? Batteries in both keyless are only a week old.......I just cant figure out WHY?

Any inputs/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Frank.
