Just go to the dealer... it's about $25. Install yourself because the dealer will hit you up for $100+ in labor to do it.

Have you had your handle replaced? My 2003 Sequoia handle needs to be replaced also. I've ordered the part at the Toyota dealer and would like to replace it myself but don't know how to do it. The only repair manual I've found is for 2002 Sequoia. Does anyone know how to replace this?

Chinee - can you please send me the install directions. I have had all 4 handles break - 2 replaces under warrenty. Also looking for a big brake kit for my 2002 Sequoia - any ideas?

You must disassemble the Toyota door handle to leave just the handle and the broken part. Drilling the hole in the 2 pieces is a challenging part by the way. Also, you may have to enlarge the small square hole in the metal handle frame to allow the nut end to miss the frame, or better yet replace it with a new one and let your closed friend who is expert in repairing do for you.

i'VE GOT THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY '03 SEQOIA . ANY OTHER OPTIONS INSTEAD OF REPLACING WITH ANOTHER PIECE OF PLASTIC.

2003 with same, exact problem. Wonder when they will go to chrome handles? I'm having trouble finding an internet source for a replacement handle(s). Any luck, yet?
