Question Firing Order and Cylinders Layout

Does anyone have the Firing order and the Cylinders layout (number label)?

I think they are all the same right?

I was looking for the same information and I came across your message. I found the answer in a Haynes manual. I can't believe how hard this is to locate. I have ALL the factory service manuals. I guess they don't waste time on what they think is simple. I actually found the WRONG info in a Toyota TSB.

Anyway, I had a P0301 code for cyl 1 and this got me to the correct igniter coil.

    Front of vehicle ^

    1........2
    3........4
    5........6
    7........8

All of the injector connectors have a Black with red stripe wire. The corresponding other wire color on the injector connector that matches with above are

    red.........................white
    green......................Red/black stripe
    blue........................yellow
    blue/red stripe..........Red/white stripe

This is a corrected post and is verified with the service manual and the electrical service manual for a 2001 Sequoia.

    Good Luck,
    Matt

I know this is way too late, but maybe useful to someone.

    Matt
