Default Limited Wheels Pitted

My truck is almost three years old and the finish on the wheels is starting to pit and the paint towards the rear of the rims is peeling in some areas. They've only been through 1.5 winters as I used my steel wheels this year. You'd think the finish would be good for longer than that? Of course the warranty is expired. Anyone else with similar problems?

Default Same issue on my SR5

My standard 16" wheels on my SR5 look like sh.... The corrosion ot whatever is eating them is actualy making little chips/spots on them. I never saw anything like that, and I got only 72K miles. I am sure there are many others. I see Seq/ Tundras with those wheels everywhere.

The paint is really flaking off now and I am starting to wonder how much it would cost to refinish the wheels would be. Any ideas?

My front wheels especially look like they're gouged up - probably the same thing you are talking about. My truck spent 5 years in upstate NY winters though and goes into salt water every now and then (I clean it well every time). I also have 160,000 miles on them now so i'm not too worried about the wheels.
