navigation question

I have a 05 tundra d/c with nav and I really didn't pay attention to the nav screen icons to much as the nav has worked great until yesterday.it got all screwed up and was no where near the right location.I tried shutting truck off and restarting-no help.I read the manual but all it says is that "when"the unit is recieving gps signals the "gps"icon in the upper lh corner will be displayed.my question is should this gps icon be displayed all the time or only occassionly?thanks for any help matt.

Did you check your GPS receiver?
Circuit city installed my GPS and left the receiver somewhere behind the headunit. My location was based on luck for a while before I decided to open up and fix the location of receiver.

Do you have any information on how to connect iPOD with E7006 Nav in '05 Sequoia. In addition, I would like to install backup camera. Is there a way to upgrade the firmware for E7006. I do know E7007 has the capability for bluetooth, aux port for iPOD and Backup camera.
