Sorry if this is already old news.
A picture of the 2007 Sequoia is over at Toyota.com
Wait for the pictures to rotate on the home page.
Looks the same to me.

Just picked up a new 2007 Sequoia brochure yesterday at my local Toyota dealership...very true...NO MAKEOVER for 2007 yr model. To my great disappointment, its the same design as my 2005, which is the same as the 2006.
With this news, I am "free to change brands" and will now probably purchase a Yukon XL/Suburban in next 4 weeks. Have concluded the Sequoia is not the same easy ride as the Suburban, and is ultimately on the small side cabinspace-wise. My spouse typically drives while I ride shotgun, and the comfort in the front passenger seat for my '05 Sequoia simply does not compare to a suburban's ride (and my last experience was w/ a 2003 Yukon XL...can't wait to try to captain's chair seats in the 2007 Yukon XL). I understand this is a Sequoia thread and YMMV, but I am convinced the Sequioa ride is more truck-like.
Also, fuel economy for my '05 Sequoia is pathetic (14mpg or thereabouts), and I am almost certain the '07 Yukon XL will easily beat this.
Was holding out to see if the 2007 Sequoia would be a make-over and sad to see it is not.
Anyone should be able to go get a 2007 brochure from your toyota dealer today.
I don't quite follow your reason for being "free" to switch brands. You always have that choice. I look at it this way, if you buy a vehicle that is part of a successful run of reliability and refinement, and not the first year out, you're better off. My personal philosophy is to buy new and keep a vehicle about 8 years. At the end of that timeframe, there is enough improvement in technology and styling and enough miles on my ride to justify my move to a new vehicle.
You may get 1-2 mpg city and 3-4 mpg freeway more on the GMC than the Seq, but I still don't believe the long term reliability is there. I'd rather spend a bit more on gas than to ever risk the maintenance headaches of one of the big 3 after the warranty has expired. Now if you're in a lease situation, it probably makes more sense to drive whatever you're more comfortable in.
Good luck with you're new truck. Keep the gang updated on your venture back to the dark side. I understand they have cookies.
My use of the term "free" was in response to my self-imposed restriction not to go out and buy a YukonXL/Suburban until I knew for sure if the Sequoia was releasing a 2007 make-ofer or not. My sense was if they had, they would enlarge the cabin somewhat (assuming the trend was similar to what they did w/ the Tundra) and then add bluetooth, which was an important technology I have been patiently waiting for. Given I would not trade "up" from an '05 Sequoia to an '07 if there was no makeover model available, and given I am ready to move to something else, just looking around and YukonXL/Surburban makeover seem to be on my short list.
I completely agree that the dependability won't be there at 60K+ miles, but I tend to sell every 3 yrs so comfort of ride during that time is paramount.
I left the Suburban/Yukon XL and moved to the Sequoia mainly because I got tired of waiting on GM to release side curtain airbags...they (GM) finally got this one figured out on the '07 makeover and designed what appears to be a decent (modern-day) safety package (side curtain airbags extending to all three rows).

I get a new truck every 3 years, I now have a "2005" Sequoia and I will get a "2008" Sequoia if there are a few changes if not I will wait another year. I gave all of the BIG 3 a chance and they ALL FAILED in a short time. You are rite a brand new Surburban does ride smoother but give it 2 or 3 years and it will feel just like a truck. As far as blue tooth, your rite it was very important for me to as soon as I got my"2005" Sequoia I went out and got the Parrot and made it a blue tooth Vehicle. I got to have a Blue Tooth truck as well. Good Luck, Well see you back in 3 years!! LOL

To solve the lack of bluetooth in the suburban/yukon xl (what fools GM were to not add this simple, inexpensive technology in their NAV package), I will avoid GMs technology package (NAV) and install the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 NAV system. GM foolishly loses the highest-margin part of the sale (high-end options) because they mis-understood and/or omitted one of the compelling technologies of today).

So why can't you just add the Pioneer package to your Seqioua.
BTW. The next Seqiuoa will have Blutooth. It will be a 2008 model year vehicle. Toyota was correct in waiting till the Tundra was out to them come out with their SUV. They did nothing wrong.
IMO, the SUV market is still reacting to the gas prices right now and Toyota can patientally watch GM SUV continue to lose value as the days go by.

The next Sequioa will have a independent suspension for the rear. I dont see GM doing this anything time soon.

The GM suvs are not getting the advertised mileage. The XL Yukon likely won't get much more that 14-15 mpg in mixed driving.
