After market modification - automatic liftgate

Does anyone know of an aftermarket modification to put a powered liftgate opening and closing system on an 05 Sequoia? If not, I think I'll design one.....

I've read it's prohibitively expensive to add, but if you design one that's affordable, I'll be first in line.

I have never seen or herd of it done. It would be a cool thing to have because that rear gate is a heavy gate. I personally don't have a problem with it but I can see how some smaller people would. Let us know how you make out. Johnnny

If you got one, I would like one... my wife drives the car 90% of the time and she's a petite lady... she loves the car, but that is the number one complaint from her.

we just traded a 2007 tahoe for a 2007 sequoia and this was my wife's first question. i personally don't like the power lift gate in most situations but if you're running to the car from the grocery store and its raining its sure nice to be able to open that thing on the fly.
