Default 2006 rear suspension ?

Hello, new guy here! I have a question regarding my 2006 Sequoia, which is two-wheel drive with the automatic load leveling rear suspension. The rear suspension uses air bags instead of springs. The vehicle has 14,000 miles. Whenever I hit a pothole or speedbump at any speed, the rear suspension hits hard. This is with the load leveling in the automatic mode and ride height at the neutral position. It almost seems like the air bags are fatigued. I've had it to the dealer-no answer. Any thoughts?

Mine does the samee thing. Bottoms out on the bump stops, even when going slowly over speed bumps. Have had time to take it in. It's almost as if there are no shocks back there.

Rscotts1,
When I took my Sequoia into the dealer, they put it up on the lift for my inspection. I could see nothing out of place. I thought maybe a shock(s) was blown-everything looked fine. But like you said, the bump stops looked like they're taking a beating. Are there any techs. on this board? My hunch is that the leveling mechanism isn't working right, and the neutral ride height should be up another inch or two. Thanks-Lou
