How to reset the Engine Immobilizer on 04 Sequoia

My husband accidentally activated the Engine Immoblizer (foreign object on the key grip?? I don't know how.). The Engine Immoblizer light is blinking and our vehicle will do nothing. We have tried to use the correct key and even factory spare keys and still there is no activity whatsoever. The alarm remote will not set or unset, nothing works. Any ideas on how to reset this device? Thanks so much in advance!

Is this on a stock truck with a stock alarm? Does your Sequoia have an aftermarket alarm?? Johnnny

As far as I know this is a stock alarm. We had it installed at the dealer before we purchased the vehicle.

I double checked what is happening, if I turn the ignition key to ACC the radio and the lights will work, but once I move it to ON or Start... Nothing. When I remove the key the Eng Immobilzer light will start blinking.

Sounds like the dealer put in an aftermarket alarm and the key push thing has lost it's programing somehow. There should be a push button somewhere under the dash on the drivers side, you got to stick your head under the steering wheel and look around it might even be by the E Brake. It's just a little black push button, you need to push that button and hold it and turn the key at the same time to start the truck. that might work. Johnnny

Is the light blinking as it normally does or at a different rate?
