About LinkBackshey anyone out there know how 2 remove the crossbars ? Removed the screws but theres not enough play 2 get them off

Re: roof rack crossbar removal I wanted to do this also and ran into the same problem. I think that the crossbars have to slide out the ends of the siderails. I decided it was too much trouble so I gave up. The siderails are bolted to the roof and the bolts are under a trim cover at the end of the rail(s).
