Default Secret bypass for navigation screen

I discovered how to access the navigation features (normally unaccessible while driving) with a simple few screen prompts.

    1st touch the 'Menu' button
    2nd touch the 'Volume' button
3rd touch the top left corner of the screen, then the bottom left corner, the top left corner again and finally the bottom left corner.
This will get you to the service screen where you can press and hold the 'Override' button until you here a beep.
Hit the back button a couple of times to get to the normal screen and away you go.
You can do all the things that you can do while in park (except while driving).

Each time you start the car again you will have to do this but it is worth it.
Let me know how you like it.

I have to admit that while checking out the different posts on this site I came across a link to a Lexus site that spilled the beans on the secret.
So glad that it worked for you.

Worked great on my 05 Sequoia and 05 4Runner, but it will not work on my 06 Tundra. Toyota must have changed something. Does anyone know how to do it on 06 Tundra NAV? Thanks.

Works like a champ on my '06 Sequoia. By the way, tried this while I was already driving and it works too. Nice.

NOpe! Just bought an 07 Seqoia with NAV (E7006) and RSE on Friday. The magic formula doesn't work for me either!
I would like to add a backup cam, satelite radio and bluetooth. Have you any sources for those installs? Others here are talking about a dealer install for Sirius radio, but my dealer pleads ignorance. I want a clean custom-like install with screen buttons used, not something slung under the dash or the like.

It seems there are so many combinations that finding good info is tough.

I'm trying to do the navigation override in my Dad's 05 Sequoia with the E7006 factory nav and it didn't work. Any ideas?

Do you hold some of the buttons?

When I press the volume button it toggles between audio on and off. Any help?

Do you do this when you start the car and it has that safety screen where you have to hit "I agree" to go on?

I tried a few times, just as it says,

    Menu
    Volume(power) button
    Top left
    Bottom left
    Top left
    bottom left

    Nothing happens...?

Volume button on the screen, not the on/off/vol. knob.
