    Default Sirius

This topic has been covered over and over but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. If missed it I apologize.

    I have a '07 Sequoia SR5

    1. Is the JBL 10 speaker factory stereo Sirius ready? I.e., can I change SAT stations via the head unit?

    2. If the radio is not Sirius ready does it have an AUX input? I've seen lots of posts and it seems I read that some units have an AUX input and some don't. Those that don't people seem to be using this product.
USA SPEC Auxiliary Interface Connect a music player to your 1998-up Toyota factory radio! at Crutchfield.com

    3. There are yet other posts where people have "MADE" SAT recievers for Solera's work. If I chose this option will I then be able to control the SAT receiver from the deck? I guess this kinda goes with question 1.....

    Thanks.

what is the model number on the front of your JBL unit? Do you have rear screen DVD or front for that matter. Is it GPS navigation equipped? I just got done with our sirius install a couple weeks back. It is easy enough, if you have the right head unit. I can help you. I have the guys at the dealership all wondering how I did it too. Hello folks,

My father owns a 2003 Sequoia and I'm interested in having Sirius installed as a gift. I don't live near him so can't look at the truck myself. I do know that he doesn't have nav or dvd and it is supposedly not JBL though I've heard conflicting answers to this. He is not technically oriented so I am only interested in solutions where the HU controls the satellite radio. Is it possible to do such a thing in this vehicle. If not, what are the connection options?

    Thanks,

    Evan
