2003 Sequoia: ABS, VSC trak, VSC off LIGHTS ON!

I have a 2003 Toyota SR5 and the VSC/TRAC lights and the Slip Indicator lights went on, buzzer went off and my back tires skidded too. It is obviously a defective part that is very hazardous and Toyota should have it recalled. I took it in to the Dealer and the part (skid control or traction control replacement) is not covered under my extended warranty and the part is $2,000. In web searching I found this website and it's very obvious that this is a huge problem with Toyota. I filed a complaint online at: www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov and I encourage everyone else with this same issue to do the same. Ironically I received a questionnaire from the NHTSA in the mail a month or so ago requesting information on this specific problem; VSC light and Slip Indicator Light so I filled it out and I also called them in Ohio (800) 262-8309 X281 you can contact michael.packard@dot.gov who is heading the investigation. I am told he will back in the office on 11-16-09...please call and let your concerns be heard!!!
