obdII code po172

I,m new to this forum but do have a problem with my 99 tacoma, 3.4 v-6, 4wd, standard trans. My wife was taking it to our local small town service and inspection station when the CEL came on. The tech put the scanner on it and it read po172- fuel adaptive system rich. I changed bot o2 sensors and he cleared the codes. 80 miles later same CEL and same code. This has been going on now for 3 weeks. We've cleaned the throttle throat, checked MAF and Evap systems with still the same problem. Any ideas?????
