Just got word from someone at CustomTacos that one of their users just about completed their project. A 2001 Tacoma S-Runner which is an extended cab, v6, 5spd, and 2wd -- now has a double cab, and 4 foot bed. Below are photos of the same exact truck. Quite amazing what you can do with a dream.

Yep - that's the (amazing) work of Glen Magrino from Middletown OH...

The basic bodywork transplant was done in 2006, and Glen's finished off some details and painted it just this summer.

It's been driveable since last fall. I've had the privilege of driving the Double Cab S-Runner (last autumn), and it's amazing how well-behaved it is. It still has the street manners of an SR ...

Glen's DC-SR is one of the all-time great rigs to have ever been presented on CT ...
