Default Weird noise after working on truck today

Ok, here's what we did:
-Installed rear shocks (the one thing that went right)
-Attempted to install a driver front shock (5100 shock turned to crap, so we put the factory shock back into the spring and re-assembled it)
-Pulled the driver front caliper off (Dealer said I was down to 5%... more like 50-60%... so it went back on without any work being done)
-While installing the front shock (or attempting to install the 5100) we disconnected the sway bar from the frame in both spots.
-Installed Diff Drop kit (guess I was being optimistic that the 5100's were going to go in)

The symptom is this: when I push on the front end, there is a banging sound - seems like it's coming from the passenger side suspension area. Metal on metal sound.

I have checked the following:
-Lug Nuts - all secure
-Caliper bolts on driver front side, secure
-removed the skid plate to take that out of the equasion

One thing I do notice, is that a small piece of the diff now touches the cross member now that it has been dropped the inch -- however it doesn't appear that the noise is coming from there.

Suggestions on where to check? This doesn't make any sense to me.

We double checked the bolts on the sway bar when we were putting it back together, so I don't see how that would be a problem, but who knows.

Now let me understand, you did not lift the front end? If this is the case, remove the diff drop, you should not drive the truck untill you remove it. You are putting unnecessary stress on the cv's, and it's most likely that the noise is comeing from that.
