Guys, Toyota's offered the Doublecab in 4cyl and V6 since their debut. I sell as many 4cyls as I do V6 models. I think they are both useful for many. The 4cyl buyers tend to be past Camry owners used to the room and space of the Camry but in need of the back bed. And, better fuel economy. The V6 comes with lots of different optional packages that cannot be had in a 4... like the IX package (color match in a few colors), the LL (Limiteds, in certain colors), and an OF package (Offroad package with upgrade shocks, raised white letter tires, and overfenders and alloys, rear diff. lock.

There is an a** for every seat, and there are plenty of 4cyl D-Cab buyers out there. I think many prefer the V6 but it isn't always affordable.

okay, okay..... im sorry didnt mean to knock the 4cyl DC's.... my bad... i was just saying what my pref was and what i thought of the 4cyl DC's... TO ME... they didnt have enough power andthey were slow getting up to freeway speeds... a little bit better on the mpg but not very much... but to some speed and power is not an issue..... so your right there is an A$$ for every seat... but the 4cyl seats arent for me.... unless it was a camry/corolla/etc... i used to own a 02' camry 4cyl and i loved it but the gearing is different so i couldnt really compare the 2..... just my .02

Also, the 4 cyl has less maintainance too, no $400-$600 timing belt job for someone to go into it every 60K or 90K miles and more time on the road. It could use just a bit more oomph though.
