Default I made a new friend with antlers!

Hello from the Alamo city!

I've been a "lurker" on this forum for a while, and well, I made a new friend Tuesday night. We met on a dark country road, I was doing 50, and he was doing about 10. We met accidentally and I haven't heard from him since. Yes, I met what was quite possibly the biggest deer I've ever seen in San Antonio. An 8 point buck, weighing in at about 200 lbs. He did a good deal of damage. Without going under the hood, I'm looking at $3,500. Thank the good Lord for insurance.
Anyways, I'm in search of a good 1st line of defense. The trusty Grille Guard. I would prefer a front end replacement, but I don't think they make them for the 2003 Tacoma. Anybody know anyone local to San Antonio that can help a guy out? I had at one time located a place locally that made front end replacements, but I can't find them anymore. Thanks for your time!!

I'm not sure how much off-roading you do or how much money you want to spend, but going with an ARB bumper would certainly solve your meetings with antler equipped friends.

I hit a 6 point 2 days before Christmas in my wife's explorer and did $6500 worth of damage. And yes, THANK YOU for insurance.

I took a look at those bumpers, and I think I will have the shop install one of those instead of the factory bumper. It's actually cheaper, believe it or not. And there is a dealer in my area.

They'll add a bit of weight to the front, but they are worth it. You won't be disappointed!
