Default Brake Controler

I own a 2004 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 and looking to start towing with it. I am ordering my tranny cooler, thinking about the bigger clutch fan but not sure I need it. What I am really hung up on is the brake controler....has any one have any info on how to hook one up to the 2004? I have read it isn't a straight plug and play that there may be some splicing involved...

Does any one have any more info they could provide me with?

Much Thanks

Chris

The Phoenix will become famous soon enough.
Default Re: Brake Controler

I do not tow much so I cannot provide details for brake controllers, but the tranny cooler will be a great help. You won't need a bigger fan though. You wouldn't notice a difference since the fan has no direct influence on towing capability.
