i have rubbing issues while turning in my 02 tacoma 2wd. is there a zerc fitting somewhere to apply grease? please help the sound is driving me nuts.

i noticed a rubbing noise while turning at slow speeds, mainly parking and u turns. i checked and ruled out the obvious. the tires are not rubbing. i then jacked up the front end and had a buddy turn the wheel lock to lock. i felt faint movement around the bushings hold the rack and pinion to the chasis. so i ordered a set of new bushings from energy suspension from my local auto part store. hopefully this cures the rub. has anyone ever done this repair before? it can't be that hard, but anyone got a headache saver?

i haven't done it yet. i checked out the 4x4wire site and it looks pretty simple for the most part. i'm hoping that i don't have to replace the rack and pinion. thats a grand i don't have right now
