I know this has been addressed but searching hasn't got me to it. I know it's simple but there is always someone out there who has a tip or two.

The procedure should be same as that found in the 2003 FSM:

2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma FSM

... Look in the 'Air Conditioning' section toward the end.
