Default Remove 2004 Manual Lock/ Window Door Panel

I just got a 2004 tacoma, really basic, love it, however I did get the base model , manual locks, windows, single cab bench seat, I am needing to remove the door panels however I dont see a way of removing the window roll-up, and the door handle other than that phillips? I dont want to break anything. Anyone have the know how?

There's a special tool to remove the window handle. A screwdriver would work but just takes patience to do it with that. Remove the phillips screw inside the door handle, and the screws that hold the armrest in place. There are probably a few small plastic tabs that have phillips screws in them as well. After you remove all those screws, the door panel should only be held in by snap pieces. Put a little elbow grease in and they'll come right out.

Good luck.

The following is for the 2003 model Tacoma, but I have yet to find anything that does not apply to my 2004 Tacoma. There may be ECM/Emissions changes that are not the same, but again, about 99% of everything in the URL below should apply to your 2004 Tacoma.

Here's the 2003 FSM front door disassembly procedure (same FSM, different site):
