No way I'd pay that much. The rears are cake. Just unbolt, then bolt on. The fronts are a bit more tricky. Not that much tricky, though. There are three bolts in the upper control arm, then one at the lower. Unbolt these, then take them to a tire/spring shop. They can put the new shocks on there for you. Around here, they charge about $20 (so $40 total). It's worth it, if you've never worked with a spring compressor.
Then all you have to do is just bolt them back up. Very easy to do. I did a 4Runner's and the fronts only took me about 2 hours. But that was with doing the shock mount to springs myself with a spring compressor. I could probably knock that out in an hour now.
