Default running hot?

ok so i have a 2003 taco and my question is what is the temp guage supposed to read? it seems to me that its running a little hot but the guage doesnt flucuate at all. it goes up and stays pointing directly to the AT/P light on the left of the cluster. so is this where it is supposed to be pointing at? it just seems like its a little higher than halfway to me, can anyone help

Take a photo and post it up. If the needle isn't pinning at the top, you should be ok.

... And please specify where the AT/P warning light is on your particular cluster. The warning light layout is different between tach and non-tach clusters.
