FYI, to answer my own question, if you remove the drive belt, it still works just fine.

I called to get a walk through or possible copy of instalation guide. The phone rung quite a few times then went to voice mail. Left a message to call back with a walk through or just to email a copy of steps.

Anyone havea guide they can send me?
