Default 16" Alloy w/ 15mm offset vs. w/o 15mm offset?

I have a 2004 4x4 tacoma extra cab TRD. I bought it used and it came with 16x8 Ivan Stewart TRD wheels with 265/70/16's. I want to run a 235/85/16 but can not mount that tire on the 8 inch rim. I found some stock alloy wheels but it lists 2 options for the 2001-2004 tacomas. A 16X7 with 15mm offset and a 16X7 without 15mm offset. I have 3 questions:

#1 What offset was stock on my 2004 tacoma?

#2 Can I fit either offset option without any problems?

#3 If I want to run a 235/85/16 (or possibly a 265/75/16) which offset will rub less without a lift?

Thanks
